Becoming a Conscious Therapist or Practitioner

A new paradigm is needed to support differently-abled children towards the expression of their innate potential, their unique light. This paradigm shift begins with how we view and serve these children, what our intention is, and our ability to tap into what is innate and special. 
As therapists/practitioners, we have a beautiful opportunity to change a child's experience from one of limitations, lack and hardship, to one of love, celebration and connection. To one where they are seen, heard and valued, where their uniqueness is recognized and celebrated, where their self worth is prioritized, and where deep connection and attunement act as a compass, leading us to tap into another's essence as a way to understand how we're meant to show up for them in session.
To serve differently-abled children in a way that is aligned with who they are and what they are meant to share with life, we must first be willing to unlearn what we’ve been taught about special kids and open up to new possibilities, a new perspective, and new creative ways to flow and co-create with children as a way to support them towards the identification and expression of their unique innate potential.

Inclusion of Differently-Abled Children
